Painted Turtle Design is pleased to announce a new line of jewelry pins and "Curio Cabinets", called Naturale Histoires.

Inspired by the arts-and-crafts and art deco design movements, Victorian curiosity cabinets and the natural world, these pieces will delight the bird-watcher, natural history buff or arts lover.

Created to reflect the character and coloration of an actual species of bird, flower or insect, the pins are carefully hand-crafted out of strong polymer clay in custom color and metallic color blends. With details of semi-precious stones, shells, antique beads, or found objects, each one is unique. Gold-filled, sterling silver, brass or copper wire is used to create flowing lines in each piece. Each pin is then polished and coated with a protective sealant and comes in a gift package for that special someone.

The Curio Cabinets are whimsical mixed-media creations to house your favorite "Naturale Histories" pin, or just to serve as a special display. Historical garden scenes, arts-and-crafts patterns and floral designs highlight each box. Please ask about the current selection.
